Heyes Farm Liverpool
Heyes farm was in a poor state of repair when AE first looked at the scheme. Phase 01 involved converting a totally delapidated and derelict barn to the site boundary. It has been lovingly restored and converted into three four bedroom houses. Using the original structure, window openings and existing features within the volume, the houses are generous and characterful. Phase 02 comprises 18 new build homes, which are under construction following a successful but complex planning application. The rear stable and pig sty structure was in a poor state of repair, and had to be removed for the safety and amenity of the residents. It is being replaced with 4 three bedroom homes on the same plot. Alongside 3 two bedroom homes are created within a mini terrace at the gateway to the lake. Further new housing is being constructed around the fishing lake with 9 large four bedroom homes featuring balconies overlooking the lake. 2 large luxury five bedroom homes are positioned to the corners enclosing the lake. These feature swimming pools, extensive living rooms and games rooms. Materially, the buildings elegantly combine brick and timber clad pitched roof volumes. A series of jetties allow for the lake to be used for fishing and boating.
