The Faversham Leeds

The Faversham is a large Victorian premises next to the University in Leeds. AE were asked to devise a new brand with two separate strands (Pub/Club) to rejuvenate the interiors and create new entrances for the relatively separate uses. The conservatory has become the focus of the pub and interior solutions were sought to enhance the space and make it more useable all year round. To prevent glare, vinyl is to be applied to the glazing and the space is edged in birch panelling. The back bar is redescribed with new lighting, storage and black boards. The former blue room is converted into a pleasant grey dining room with bespoke copper pipe chandeliers and wall lights. The club entrance is enhanced with a new kiosk, encapsulite strip lights and plywood panelling. Ply notice boards are edged with Encapsulite battens. Scaffold poser tables and screens are used to edge the dance floor and bespoke lighting on the back bar reinforces the new branding. Laser cut illuminated plywood boxes are distributed throughout the building to improve building navigation. AE worked closely with Ilo Create and Mayfly Marketing to redesign the Faversham website: www.thefaversham.com
