Nicholas Hincks

Architectural Assistant

Nick joined Architectural Emporium in October 2020 after achieving a first class undergraduate degree in Architecture from Liverpool John Moores University. His final year project, examining ornament and historicism in a declining conservation area, won the university’s consideration for both the RIBA Bronze Medal and the Architects’ Journal Student Prize.

Nick has marked interests in post-modernism, and seeks to explore playfully-contextual design in the years ahead. He journeyed through fifteen European countries during university, most favourably Italy, where he enjoyed traversing cities and towns from the north to the south in search of post-modern sights. As a balance to architectural pursuits, Nick is a keen runner and vegetarian cook.

Since joining, he has become an important member of the team, producing carefully considered drawings and visuals on a broad range of projects.
